Position Summary:
The Pilot-in-Command will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the company's fleet of King Air aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction. This role requires a commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and a dedication to teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command for a fleet of two King Air aircraft.
- Adhere strictly to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and the company's general operations manual.
- Maintain strict compliance with customer-defined schedules.
- Ensure all aircraft are maintained in a safe and efficient operating condition.
- Prepare the aircraft for each flight, ensuring cleanliness and all necessary provisions are onboard for passenger safety and comfort.
- Thoroughly study weather conditions and forecasts for departure, route, destination, and alternate airports.
- Prepare comprehensive flight plans, calculate weight and balance, determine fuel requirements, and analyze aircraft performance charts.
- Proactively communicate maintenance needs and ensure timely service with maintenance personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:
- FAA certified Commercial Pilot certificate with single-engine, multi-engine, and instrument ratings.
- A minimum of 2,000 hours of total flight time.
- A minimum of 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command.
- A minimum of 1,000 hours of multi-engine flight time.
- Must be willing to relocate and reside within a one-hour driving radius of Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and currently type-rated in a BE-350.
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII), and Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) ratings.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Previous charter or corporate flight experience.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires meeting specific physical standards to ensure safe operation of the aircraft:
- Ability to sit for extended periods and operate a computer.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs to a height of 50 inches to simulate loading of equipment.
- Ability to exert a 5 lb. pull in a forward/downward motion to replicate accessing the oxygen mask.
- Sufficient grip strength to turn knobs on the center console.
- Ability to exert a 15 lbs pull/push force to operate flight controls.
- Ability to exert a 15 lbs push/pull force to operate the throttle.
- Must possess sufficient hand dexterity to operate toggles and switches.
