Our organization is actively seeking highly experienced Aerial Firefighting Tanker Pilots in Command to join our professional team. This critical role supports vital year-round firefighting operations, demanding precision, skill, and a commitment to safety in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities
Pilots in Command will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of aerial firefighting aircraft, including strategic planning, flight execution, and crew coordination during active firefighting missions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate or Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Instrument Rating (Multiengine Land) is required.
- A current First or Second-Class medical certificate is mandatory.
- A minimum of 4,000 hours of total flight time is necessary.
- At least 2,000 hours must be logged as Pilot in Command (airplane).
- A minimum of 200 hours of multiengine Pilot in Command time is required.
- A DC-9 type rating is preferred but not mandatory.
