Advanced Air | First Officer

Advanced Air, LLC, an FAA Part 135 on-demand air carrier based in Hawthorne, California, is seeking a qualified First Officer to operate the Cessna Citation CJ3. This role supports the company's extensive charter operations across the southwestern United States, requiring the First Officer to assist the Pilot-in-Command with all flight phases and assume primary responsibility for customer service aspects of each flight leg.

About the Role

The Second in Command (First Officer) plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Cessna Citation CJ3 for Advanced Air's on-demand charter services. Reporting to the Chief Pilot, this position involves direct support of the Pilot-in-Command, adherence to all operational policies, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. The incumbent will assist in pre- and post-flight duties, manage customer service interactions, and uphold all regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• High-school diploma or GED
• ATP certificate with a multi-engine rating
• Minimum 2,500 hours total flight time
• Minimum 500 hours multi-engine land time
• Successful completion of an oral/written examination administered by an FAA-approved Advanced Air Check Airman (or a representative of the Administrator) within the preceding 12 calendar months per FAR 135.293(a)
• Successful completion of a competency check in the type of airplane within the preceding 12 calendar months per FAR 135.293(b)
• Successful completion of a 6-month IFR proficiency check per FAR 135.297
• Successful completion of an enroute check demonstrating enroute, arrival and departure procedures per FAR 135.299
• Residency within two hours of the Hawthorne, CA base airport
• An 18-month commitment to Advanced Air
