Commercial Pilot - Advanced Air, LLC
Advanced Air, LLC is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced Commercial Pilot to enhance its dynamic aviation team. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional aviation proficiency, a steadfast commitment to safety, and a comprehensive understanding of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, particularly for Part 135 operations.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of a High School Diploma or GED is a foundational requirement.
- Candidates must have accumulated a minimum of 1200 hours total flight time, including at least 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and 50 hours in multi-engine fixed-wing aircraft.
- A Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land certificate is mandatory for this role.
- Required flight experience includes 500 hours of cross-country flight time, 100 hours of night flight time, and 75 hours of instrumental flight time, with at least 50 of these hours acquired in actual flight conditions.
- While not mandatory, candidates holding CFI, CFII, and MEI Certificates are highly preferred.
FAA Compliance and Operational Readiness:
- The successful candidate must be capable of passing, or have already successfully completed within the preceding 12 calendar months, oral and written examinations administered by an FAA-approved Advanced Air, LLC Check Airman or a representative of the Administrator, as stipulated by FAR 135.293(a).
- Furthermore, completion of a competency check in the specific type of aircraft within the preceding 12 calendar months, conducted by an FAA-approved Advanced Air, LLC Check Airman or an FAA Inspector, is required by FAR 135.293(b).
- A six-month IFR proficiency check, administered by an FAA inspector or an FAA-approved Advanced Air, LLC Check Airman, must have been successfully completed in accordance with FAR 135.297.
- Demonstration of proficient enroute, arrival, and departure procedures through an enroute check (FAR 135.299) with an FAA inspector or an FAA-approved Advanced Air, LLC Check Airman is also a prerequisite.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- A comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration rules and regulations is essential for this position.
- Candidates should also possess knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures to ensure operational readiness.
- A strong customer/client focus is paramount, alongside the proven ability to effectively multi-task in a dynamic operational environment.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required for administrative and communication tasks.
