Experienced Commercial Pilot - FAR Part 135 Operations
Advanced Air, LLC is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced Commercial Pilot to enhance its professional flight operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an unwavering commitment to safety, exceptional airmanship, and a comprehensive understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations, particularly concerning Part 135 operations.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or GED is a fundamental requirement.
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 1200 hours total flight time.
- A minimum of 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
- At least 50 hours of multi-engine fixed-wing flight experience.
- A current Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land certificate is mandatory.
- A minimum of 500 hours cross-country flight time.
- At least 100 hours of night flight time.
- A minimum of 75 hours of instrumental flight time, of which at least 50 hours must have been acquired in actual flight conditions.
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Instrument Flight Instructor (CFII), and Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) certificates are preferred but not essential for this role.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate current and ongoing compliance with Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 135 operational requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, successfully passing an oral and written examination as required by FAR 135.293(a) and completing a competency check in the assigned aircraft type as required by FAR 135.293(b). These checks must have been administered by an FAA-approved Advanced Air, LLC Check Airman or a representative of the Administrator within the preceding 12 calendar months.
- The pilot must have completed the 6-month IFR proficiency check, as stipulated by FAR 135.297, administered by an FAA inspector or an FAA-approved Advanced Air, LLC Check Airman.
- Demonstrated proficiency in enroute, arrival, and departure procedures by completing an enroute check, as required by FAR 135.299, with an FAA inspector or an FAA-approved Advanced Air, LLC Check Airman.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance procedures.
- A strong customer/client focus and commitment to service excellence.
- Proven ability to effectively multi-task and manage various responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
