Defensive Cyber Instructor

Accenture Federal Services (AFS) is seeking a Defensive Cyber Instructor to deliver high-quality training, instruction, and mentoring to future officers. This role involves providing course and learner feedback to key stakeholders and managing the development and delivery of Defensive Cyber training programs for U.S. Space Force customers. The instructor will leverage their experience to mentor Cyber Network Operators and collaborate with the customer to incorporate relevant, cutting-edge tactics and technology into course materials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, qualify on, and deliver in-residence cyberspace operations course materials (lessons and laboratories) consistent with Instructional Systems Design (ISD) principles and aligned to 319 CTS instructions, security classification guides, and other applicable guidance.
  • Interface with internal and external cyber agencies to update and maintain a state-of-the-art training program concerning cyber tactics, tools, and exploits.
  • Coordinate instructional activities with the Contract Task Lead and government personnel.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 6+ years of experience in defensive cyber security, mission assurance, and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
  • 6+ years of experience with defensive cyberspace operations.
  • Experience with Cyber Kill Chain concepts, Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) tools, commands, and techniques, including NMAP, Zenmap, CLI/PowerShell, SIEM, ELK stack, IDS/IPS systems, SNORT, TCPDump PCAP, and Wireshark.
  • Working knowledge of and experience with cyber operational-level command and control constructs.
  • Skilled communicator with experience providing platform instruction to an academically diverse audience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of Air Force Instructor Course or a similar joint/civilian instructor course.

Security Clearance

  • Active or current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) level clearance.
