Flight Instructor - CFI Academy
ATP, the nation's largest flight school, seeks a qualified Flight Instructor to join its CFI Academy. For over 35 years, ATP has been the leader in professional flight training, providing pilots to regional and major airlines. This role offers the opportunity to prepare professional applicants for their flight instructor certificates through a comprehensive two-week ground school and flight training program.
Responsibilities:
- Follow approved training curriculum, ensuring students are trained to the highest standards.
- Maintain student records and keep Training Support informed of student progress.
- Conduct airplane spin training.
- Conduct airplane flight maneuver training and endorsements for the initial CFI certificate.
- Weekend flights may be required.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Certified Flight Instructor Certificate that complies with 14 CFR Part 61.195 (h) 2-Year CFI.
- CFII preferred.
- MEI preferred.
- Experience in the PA-28-181, CE-172R/S, and PA-44 preferred.
- Ability to evaluate subjects related to Single-Engine and Instrument ratings.
- Ability to conduct spin training in approved aircraft.
- Excellent teaching and communication skills are required.
