ATR First Officer - ASL Airlines (United Kingdom)
ASL Aviation Holdings, a global aviation services provider with a fleet of over 160 aircraft, seeks experienced ATR First Officers to join ASL Airlines (United Kingdom) for a long-term assignment supporting cargo operations. Role Purpose:
The First Officer assists the Commander in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight. In the event of the Commander's incapacitation, the First Officer assumes command.
Responsibilities:
- Execute flight duties in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures, including procedures, limitations, and performance relating to the specific aircraft type, as allocated by the Commander.
- Foster a positive atmosphere of understanding and cooperation among crew members.
- Advise the Commander if any aspect of flight preparation appears to have been overlooked.
- Confirm the safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining a continuous and independent check on the aircraft's geographical position and safe terrain clearance; provide advice, information, and assistance to the Commander to contribute to the safe and efficient conduct of the flight.
- Seek and receive information and/or explanations from the Commander to effectively fulfill the First Officer role.
- Maintain a high personal standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a company representative.
- Support the Commander in developing and maintaining a high standard of professional expertise and morale among the crew.
- Ensure the validity of the operational flight plan and, when necessary, file the Air Traffic Services Flight Plan with the appropriate authority. Verify the correct plan is activated when using stored plans.
Requirements:
- Minimum 500 hours total flight time, with a minimum of 250 hours on CS-25 aircraft.
- Valid UK CAA-issued ATPL or Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and instrument rating (IR).
- Type rating on ATR aircraft.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 minimum.
- Valid UK CAA Class 1 medical certificate.
- Must be eligible to live and work in the United Kingdom.
- Base of operations will be at East Midlands Airport, United Kingdom.
