ASL Aviation Holdings is seeking experienced ATR Captains to join ASL Airlines United Kingdom, supporting cargo operations based at East Midlands Airport. The ATR Captain is accountable for the safety of the aircraft, its occupants, and any property carried therein, adhering strictly to all applicable regulations. The Captain supervises and supports the First Officer, fostering a cooperative and professional crew environment that promotes high standards of conduct and appearance. The Captain is responsible for the promotion and implementation of the company's Safety Management System (SMS) to proactively prevent accidents. The Captain ensures strict compliance with all operational procedures and checklists, as outlined in the Operations Manual. In emergency situations requiring immediate action, the Captain will make decisions deemed necessary in the interest of safety, in accordance with regulations.
Minimum requirements for the ATR Captain position include: a minimum of 1,000 hours on type; a UK CAA Licence; a United Kingdom passport; current and qualified status on ATR aircraft; ICAO Level 4 English Proficiency; a valid UK CAA 1st Class Medical Certificate; no history of accidents and incidents; and the right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
