Experienced Type-Rated Captain Opportunity at AJet

AJet is actively seeking highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated aviation professionals to join its esteemed team as Type-Rated Captains. Minimum Requirements for Prospective Candidates:

Prospective candidates must demonstrate compliance with the following comprehensive criteria:

  • Total Flight Time: A minimum of 4000 hours of total flight experience.
  • Heavy Aircraft Experience: Within the total flight time, at least 4000 hours must have been accrued in aircraft types exceeding 27 tons.
  • Pilot in Command (PIC) on Type: A minimum of 500 hours as Pilot in Command on a specific aircraft type.
  • Type Rating: A current and valid type rating is required.
  • Recent Flight Activity: Must have actively flown as a pilot within the last six months.
  • License Requirements: Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
  • Accepted License Authorities: Licenses issued by EASA, FAA, or ICAO are accepted.
  • Medical Certificate: A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP): Demonstrated minimum ICAO ELP Level 4.
  • Educational Background: A minimum of high school graduation.
  • Professional Conduct Record: Must not have received any formal written punishment attributed to flight failure or flight indiscipline.
  • Clean Background: Absence of any criminal record or criminal archive record.
  • Incident/Accident Clearance: Ability to provide an Incident/Accident Clearance Statement.
  • Logbook Integrity: Logbook pages must be fully updated and officially approved.
  • License Validity upon Employment: For candidates successfully completing the evaluation process, the flight license must retain a minimum of two months' validity remaining as of the employment start date.
  • Health Examination: Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment health examination.
  • Residency and Base Acceptance: Willingness to accept the location designated by AJet as the main operational base and commit to residing there.
  • Previous Employment Standing: Must not have previously resigned from Turkish Airlines Inc. or other organizations due to disciplinary reasons, nor have been terminated from Turkish Airlines Inc. and its affiliates due to contract termination.
