Minimum Candidate Requirements
Prospective candidates for pilot positions at AJet must meet the following stringent criteria:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 4,000 flight hours is required.
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: Candidates must possess at least 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in type.
- Type Rating: A valid type rating is mandatory for consideration.
- Specific Flight Experience: A minimum of 1,000 hours of flight experience in aircraft types weighing over 27 tons is essential.
- License Requirement: A valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is a prerequisite.
- Accepted License Holders: Licenses issued by DGCA (Turkey), EASA, FAA, and ICAO are recognized.
- Medical Certificate: A current Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- ICAO English Proficiency: An ICAO English Proficiency Level 4 or higher is required.
- Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.
Additional Eligibility Criteria
Beyond flight qualifications, candidates must also satisfy the following personal and professional standards:
- Education: A minimum of high school graduation is required.
- Flight Disciplinary Record: Candidates must not have received any written disciplinary action due to flight failure or indiscipline.
- Criminal Record: A clear criminal record or absence of any criminal archive record is essential.
- Base Acceptance: Candidates must be willing to accept the company-determined base and reside in that location.
- Language Proficiency (Blue Card Holders): For candidates holding a blue card, fluency and understandable communication in Turkish are required.
- Pre-Employment Medical: Successful completion of the final pre-employment examination conducted by AJet workplace physicians is mandatory.
- Previous Training Performance: Candidates must not have previously failed training or control flights with Turkish Airlines or any other airline.
- Employment History: Candidates must not have been previously terminated from employment with THY AO or its subsidiary companies.
