Minimum Requirements for Aspiring Pilots
Prospective candidates must meet the following stringent criteria to be considered for this esteemed position:
- Multi-Engine Flight Hours: A minimum of 1000 flight hours on multi-engine aircraft is required.
- Turbine Flight Hours: A minimum of 1000 flight hours on turbine-powered aircraft is mandatory.
- Type Rating: A specific type rating is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided by AIS Airlines.
- Flight Time Qualification: Candidates must be qualified as commander. This includes 1000 multi-engine hours on turboprop or turbojet aircraft, or an equivalent qualification as determined by the Director of Flight Operations (DFO).
- Preferred Flight Experience: While a valid type rating for the aircraft type is preferred, it is not essential for application.
- Required License: A valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is a prerequisite.
- Eligible License Holders: Applications are open to holders of EASA licenses.
- Medical Certificate: A current Class 1 medical certificate is obligatory.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP): A minimum ICAO ELP Level 5 is required.
- Work Authorization: Applicants must possess the legal right to work and reside within the European Union (EU).
