AIS Airlines Pilot / Commander Opportunity
AIS Airlines is actively seeking highly qualified and motivated aviation professionals to join its esteemed flight crew in a Commander position. Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will operate multi-engine turboprop or turbojet aircraft as Commander, upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational efficiency in accordance with company procedures and EASA regulations.
Minimum Requirements
Prospective candidates must meet the following essential criteria:
- License: Valid EASA ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License).
- Medical: Current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- ICAO ELP: ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 or higher.
- Flight Time: A minimum of 1000 hours multi-engine flight time on turboprop or turbojet aircraft. Equivalent experience may be considered at the discretion of the Director of Flight Operations (DFO).
- Commander Qualification: Must be qualified as a Commander.
- Type Rating: A specific type rating is not required as training will be provided by AIS Airlines.
- Assessment: Ability to successfully pass an advanced compass test, including a Candidate Vision Profile (CVP).
- Residency & Work Permit: Possession of the legal right to live and work within the European Union.
- Documentation: Valid Driver’s License, Valid Security Background Check, and Valid Passport.
Preferred Qualifications & Attributes
While not essential, candidates who possess the following will be highly regarded:
- Type Rating: A valid type rating for the aeroplane type is preferred.
- Flying Skills: Demonstrably above-average flying skills.
- Motivation: Highly motivated with a proactive approach to aviation operations.
- Team Player: A flexible and balanced team player personality.
- Leadership: Above-standard professional leadership qualities, capable of performing as an accepted and respected leader within the flight deck and company.
Important Information
- Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is not provided for this position. Applicants must already possess the right to work in the EU.
- Training: Comprehensive type rating training will be provided to successful candidates who do not hold the relevant type rating.
