Job Summary

Afcom Cargo, an international cargo airline based in Chennai, is seeking an experienced Training Manager. This pivotal role involves the comprehensive management of pilot training and development, including the planning and booking of simulator sessions, coordination of ground school instruction, and staff rostering for all training programs.

About the Role

The Training Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of pilot training initiatives. Key duties include:

• Planning and booking simulator sessions for initial and recurrent training, including Instrument Rating (IR) and Proficiency Check (PPC) requirements.
• Coordinating ground school training, covering technical subjects and performance aspects.
• Managing training coordination effectively with instructors and training facilities.
• Rostering staff to ensure optimal coverage for all training programs.

Requirements

Candidates will be assessed based on the following essential criteria:

• A minimum of 1500+ total flight hours.
• Possession of a valid type rating on an aircraft.
• A valid Indian passport.
• Current and valid flying licenses.
• A current Class 1 medical certificate.
