AAP Aviation Cadet Pilot Programme
AAP Aviation, a growing force in the Norwegian aviation sector, is pleased to announce a Cadet Pilot Programme in partnership with Pilot Flight Academy (PFA). This programme offers promising PFA students enrolled in the November 2023 class a unique opportunity to secure a job offer upon successful graduation.
This self-sponsored cadet programme provides access to the exceptional pilot education offered by AAP Aviation's Pilot Flight Academy in Sandefjord. AAP Aviation guarantees a job offer to candidates who consistently meet the programme's requirements, successfully complete PFA's pilot training, and pass the final assessment conducted by AAP upon graduation.
Programme Steps:
- Apply to the AAP Cadet Programme.
- Participate in an interview with the AAP recruitment selection team to obtain a recommendation.
- Recommended candidates must enroll with PFA for the November 2023 class and successfully pass PFA's initial admission test.
- Sign a contract with AAP for the cadet programme.
- Successfully complete the Commercial Pilot course and obtain a Commercial Pilot License with PFA, including CPL/ATPL (frozen) ME/IR and a Class 1 medical certificate with no restrictions or limitations.
- Pass the final assessment conducted by AAP after graduation.
Conditions for Programme Acceptance and Continued Eligibility:
- Receive a recommendation from AAP Aviation to enroll in PFA’s November 2023 class and successfully complete the PFA admission test.
- Successfully complete the Commercial Pilot course with PFA, including all theory and practical tests, with monitored progress.
- Obtain a Commercial Pilot License by 2025.
- Obtain a valid Medical Class 1 certificate by 2025.
- Successfully complete the final pilot assessment with an AAP Aviation recruitment specialist after graduation in 2025.
- Successfully pass a drug and alcohol test as part of the assessment.
- Maintain a clean police record.
- Successfully pass a background check for the last 5 years.
- Fulfill the requirements and potentially additional assessment for the airline in question.
Appendix:
a) AAP Assessments:
- Prior to enrolling in the cadet programme.
- After graduation from the PFA commercial pilot course.
b) Other Assessments and Evaluations:
- Cadets will be evaluated and graded according to PFA’s standards.
c) CPL/ATPL Requirement:
- A CPL / ATPL (frozen) ME/IR and Class 1 medical certificate with no time restrictions or limitations are required to be offered a contract with AAP’s clients.
d) Cadet's Personal File at PFA:
- AAP must be allowed to review the cadet’s full personal file, including medical file, throughout the cadet’s training.
