Job Summary:

The private pilot will taxi corporate executives from city to city.

Essential Responsibilities/Activities:

Essentials duties are to assist and fly and operate Company airplane, adhering to the rules and regulations of the FAA, Standard Operating Procedures and company general operations manual. Aside from flying the aircraft safely, a pilot's tasks and duties may include the following:

  • Prepare flight plans; calculate weight and balance, fuel on board, and performance charts.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of company aircraft
  • Performing pre- and post-flight aircraft inspections
  • Selecting safe and efficient flight routes
  • Determining risks that may occur
  • Keeping accurate records for compliance purposes
  • Communicating with required agencies and personnel
  • Ensuring the safety and comfort of the passengers, crew, and aircraft
  • Maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support customer service
  • Orders and receives fuel deliveries
  • Ensure the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the safety and comfort of our passengers.
  • Obtain the most current weather reports, forecasts and NOTAMS from a FAA flight service station or other authorized agency

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills and ability to function under pressure.
  • Excellent leadership skills, situational awareness, and professionalism.
  • College Degree preferred and 5-7 years of aviation experience
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Must be able to handle the job responsibilities with integrity, discretion and sensitivity to confidential company and employee information
  • Hold an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating
  • Obtain and maintain an FAA First Class Medical
  • 4000 hours Total Fixed Wing
  • 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land
  • 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command
  • 1500 hours Turbojet
  • 1500 Turbine time
  • 100 hours Night
  • 75 hours Actual or Simulated Instrument

Degree(s): Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

License(s): CPL; ATPL

Certification(s): FAA First Class Medical Certificate
