Key Role Requirements
Minimum Flight Experience
- Total Flight Time: 1500 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 750 hours
- In-Type Flight Time: 100 hours
- Flight Time Notes: Includes 100 hours Instrument Rating (IR) and 100 hours Night Flying.
Licensing and Medical
- Required Licenses: Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Engine (ME)
- License Holders Considered: UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) licensed pilots.
- Medical Requirements: Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP): Level 4 or above.
Type Rating and Training
- Type Rating: Not required; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Highly Desirable: A current Multi-Engine Pilot's Instrument Rating (MEP-IR), Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEP), MCC (Multi-Crew Cooperation), and AUPRTA (Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training) are advantageous. A current King Air 350 or 200 type rating is highly desirable, though not essential as training will be provided.
Additional Applicant Qualifications
- Relevant experience in similar operational settings, such as military, police, or coastguard aviation, is highly valued.
- Applicants must possess, or have the ability to obtain, UK Security Clearance.
- A valid UK Driving Licence is mandatory.
