2Excel Aviation Seeks Experienced Captains
2Excel Aviation is actively seeking applications from highly professional and experienced Senior Captains to join its dynamic global operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of safety and operational excellence, supporting complex missions worldwide. This key role is primarily based at Stansted Airport (EGSS).
Minimum Essential Experience and Qualifications
Candidates must rigorously meet or exceed the following mandatory flight experience requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 6,000 hours
- Pilot-In-Command (PIC) Time: 3,000 hours
- Time on Type: 1,000 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 3,000 hours
- Jet Time: 3,000 hours
Specific PIC Experience Criteria
The applicant must demonstrate proficiency in heavy aircraft operations, fulfilling one of the following two criteria regarding maximum take-off weight (MTOW):
- 3,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on multi-engine jet aeroplanes with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) of at least 20 metric tonnes, OR;
- 3,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on multi-engine turboprop aeroplanes with an MTOW of at least 20 metric tonnes, PLUS 500 hours as co-pilot on jet aeroplanes with an MTOW of at least 20 metric tonnes.
Required Licensing and Operational Attributes
The candidate must possess the following essential documentation and personal attributes necessary for immediate deployment:
- Licence Requirement: Must hold a valid UK CAA Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
- Medical Certification: Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- English Language Proficiency (ELP): ICAO ELP Level 6 (Proficient).
- Travel Capability: Must hold a current passport affording unrestricted ability to travel worldwide for operational duties.
- IT Literacy: Proficient in standard IT systems, including MS Office suite and Web-Based IT systems.
- Teamwork and Autonomy: Proven capability to work effectively within a small team environment, autonomously, and with minimal direct supervision.
Location and Desirable Experience
While the primary base of operations is Stansted Airport (EGSS), 2Excel Aviation highly encourages candidates who reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the airport to apply.
Highly Desirable Attributes
While not mandatory, candidates possessing the following experience will be at a distinct advantage:
- Demonstrable professional experience operating within a demanding VIP environment.
- Previous experience in Line Training or supervisory instructional roles is highly sought after.
